Baccarat Hotel & Residences Maldives has unveiled a new brand campaign starring supermodel Adriana Lima, aiming to position its first island residences as the pinnacle of luxury living in the Indian Ocean. The campaign, photographed by Russell James, offers a cinematic look at residential life on the property's five islands in South Malé Atoll.

The imagery emphasizes the interplay of light, water, and Baccarat's crystal heritage, with Lima shown swimming, exploring, and enjoying family moments by the sea. The campaign is designed to appeal to affluent travelers and potential property buyers, a segment that continues to drive growth in the Maldives' high-end hospitality market.

Residences and amenities

The development spans 125 acres and includes 62 private residences and 50 villas. Each residence features 20-metre private infinity pools, dual outdoor showers, and personal yoga pavilions, catering to wellness-focused buyers. For the first time in the Maldives, the property offers golf residences—five homes surrounding a private nine-hole course, targeting those who want an active lifestyle in a tropical setting.

Designed by 1508 London and Marcel Wanders, the residences reflect Baccarat's 250-year legacy of craftsmanship. The property is managed by Starwood Hotels and includes seven Michelin-starred restaurants, a state-of-the-art spa, and extensive leisure facilities.

The launch comes as the Maldives continues to attract luxury developments and high-net-worth visitors. Recent industry moves, such as Vakkaru Maldives' festive season plans, underscore the competitive landscape for upscale resort experiences.

For travel advisors and luxury tour operators, the campaign signals an opportunity to market Baccarat's residences as a destination for both vacation and investment. The property's unique golf offering could appeal to niche clients seeking exclusive recreational amenities.

The campaign is now live on the Baccarat Maldives Residences website, with plans to extend across digital and social channels. As the Maldives looks to boost tourism arrivals, initiatives like this highlight the sector's focus on premium experiences.

Industry observers note that the Maldives' luxury segment remains resilient, with new properties and campaigns driving interest. The archipelago's appeal to celebrities and influencers, as seen with Lima's involvement, continues to shape its image as a top-tier destination.
