Celebrity Cruises is significantly upgrading its Captain's Club loyalty program, introducing new milestone rewards and two additional elite tiers that will take effect on sailings departing from 11 June 2026. The move is designed to deepen engagement among the line's most loyal guests, particularly those who book suites and longer voyages.

Under the revised structure, members will unlock benefits at 1,500, 2,250, 3,000, 6,000, and 9,000 Club Points, supplementing existing tier privileges. The upper end of the program now includes Double Zenith (6,000 points) and Triple Zenith (9,000 points) levels, above the current Zenith threshold of 3,000 points.

New Perks at the Top

At the 3,000-point Zenith milestone, members receive a 35% discount on specialty dining cover charges, three complimentary onboard photos, and a surprise in-room amenity on the milestone sailing. The new Double Zenith tier adds a complimentary lunch at a specialty restaurant on embarkation day, one specialty dinner on any day of the sailing, and champagne delivered to the stateroom. Triple Zenith members receive all of the above plus a complimentary 7-night Bermuda or Caribbean cruise in a Sky Suite, one specialty lunch on any day of every sailing, and an additional specialty dinner per sailing.

These enhancements are clearly aimed at rewarding high-spend, high-frequency cruisers who accumulate points rapidly through suite bookings. For context, a guest in a Sky Suite earns 8 points per night, while those in Penthouse, Reflection, or Edge Villa categories earn 18 points per night. The top-tier Iconic Suite yields 24 points per night.

Intermediate Milestones for Elite Plus and Zenith

Celebrity is also introducing intermediate benefits for members in the Elite Plus (750–2,999 points) and Zenith (3,000+ points) bands. At 1,500 points, members receive 480 minutes of free Premium Wi-Fi, 20% off specialty dining, one complimentary photo, and a surprise in-room amenity. At 2,250 points, the Wi-Fi allowance jumps to 720 minutes (up from 240 minutes previously offered to Elite Plus), the specialty dining discount rises to 25%, two photos are included, and a complimentary "Extend Your Stay" experience on disembarkation day is offered where available.

These intermediate rewards are designed to maintain momentum and give members tangible benefits as they climb toward the next tier, rather than waiting years between major thresholds.

Captain's Club remains a points-based program, with Club Points awarded per night based on stateroom category. Inside and Ocean View cabins earn 2 points per night; Veranda and Infinite Veranda earn 3; Concierge Class and AquaClass earn 5; Sky Suite and Aqua Sky Suite earn 8; Celebrity, Signature, Royal, and Sunset Suites earn 12; Penthouse, Reflection, and Edge Villa earn 18; and the Iconic Suite earns 24. Members can also earn transferable Club Points from select sailings on Royal Caribbean and Silversea, converted at brand-specific exchange rates published by Royal Caribbean Group.

Current tier bands remain unchanged: Preview (0 points), Classic (2–149), Select (150–299), Elite (300–749), Elite Plus (750–2,999), and Zenith (3,000+). The new milestone rewards apply to sailings departing on or after 11 June 2026, for members who have already reached the relevant point levels or will do so in the future.

For travel professionals advising clients on loyalty strategy, this overhaul signals a clear push to incentivize suite bookings and longer itineraries. The complimentary 7-night cruise at Triple Zenith, in particular, offers a tangible aspirational reward that could influence booking behavior among high-net-worth travelers. As loyalty programs become increasingly competitive across the cruise industry, Celebrity's move mirrors trends seen in other sectors, such as Hyatt's recent loyalty leadership appointment and the integration of boutique properties into global programs highlighted in Maldives resort loyalty expansions.

Members can check their current Club Points and benefits by logging into their account on Celebrity's website. The full list of new milestone levels and terms is available under the loyalty section. For agents and advisors, understanding these changes will be key to advising clients on maximizing value, especially those considering suite categories or combining Celebrity sailings with Royal Caribbean or Silversea cruises to accelerate point accumulation.
