Seabourn Quest has returned from drydock with a comprehensive overhaul of its interiors, including redesigned suites, refreshed dining venues, and upgraded public areas. The luxury vessel, part of Seabourn’s fleet, will continue its Mediterranean season through November 2026, offering seven-day itineraries connecting Dubrovnik, Venice, Istanbul, and Athens.

Design and Sustainability Focus

The drydock, described by the line as its most extensive to date, reflects a broader investment in the guest experience. Mark Tamis, president of Seabourn, said: “This drydock represents an investment that reflects our unwavering focus on elevating every aspect of the guest experience.” The redesign includes a speakeasy-inspired makeover of The Club, along with improved flow and atmosphere in public areas.

Dining venues received significant attention: The Colonnade and The Restaurant now feature new furnishings and décor. Suites have been refreshed with new mattresses and wool carpeting, while Penthouse and premium suites have updated veranda furniture.

Sustainability was a key priority. Over 20,000 square metres of carpet were replaced and repurposed, and all old mattresses were recycled. The ship’s redesign incorporates sustainable materials, aligning with Seabourn’s environmental goals.

The upgrades are part of an ongoing fleet investment. Seabourn is offering savings of up to 15% on select voyages, along with shipboard credits, to encourage bookings on the newly enhanced ship.

For travel professionals, the revamped Seabourn Quest presents a refreshed product for luxury Mediterranean itineraries. The line’s focus on sustainability and design may appeal to high-end clients seeking both comfort and environmental consciousness. As the luxury cruise segment continues to evolve, such investments help maintain competitiveness against other premium lines like Silversea and Regent Seven Seas.

Seabourn’s parent company, Carnival Corporation, has been investing across its luxury brands. The Quest’s drydock follows similar upgrades on sister ships Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Odyssey, ensuring consistency across the fleet.

Agents and tour operators can leverage the ship’s new features and promotional pricing to attract discerning travelers. The Mediterranean itineraries, with calls at iconic ports, offer a strong selling point for clients seeking cultural immersion and luxury.
