ATG, the global travel management group, has launched ATG Reshop, an artificial intelligence-powered reshopping engine designed to automatically identify and rebook lower fares and hotel rates after a reservation is made. The tool, built in partnership with Oversee, aims to deliver ongoing price assurance for corporate travel programmes without burdening travel agents or disrupting the traveller experience.
ATG Reshop integrates directly into the company's existing technology stack, marking the latest step in ATG's broader investment in automation and data-driven travel management. The solution monitors air and hotel bookings continuously, scanning for price drops or better rates that align with corporate travel policy. When a savings opportunity is detected, the system automatically rebooks the reservation, capturing the lower cost without requiring manual intervention from agents or travellers.
Automated Savings in a Volatile Pricing Environment
In today's market, airfares and hotel rates can shift rapidly, making post-booking price assurance a critical capability for corporate travel programmes. ATG Reshop addresses this volatility by providing a persistent savings layer that operates in the background. According to Tammy Krings, Founder and CEO of ATG, the tool responds directly to client expectations: "Our corporate clients expect their travel programme to work harder for them, capturing extra post-booking savings, staying aligned with policy, and doing it without disrupting the traveller experience."
Aviel Siman-Tov, CEO and Co-founder of Oversee, emphasised the strategic value of reshopping in corporate travel. "Our platform provides a continuous savings layer across air and hotel bookings, allowing ATG's teams to maintain focus on client service whilst the platform captures value in the background," he said. The partnership underscores a growing trend among travel management companies to deploy AI for cost optimisation without adding friction to the booking process.
ATG Reshop is initially rolling out in Germany, with plans to expand into additional markets in the coming months. The launch follows ATG's comprehensive rebranding and technology upgrade, positioning the company to offer more tailored travel solutions that deliver clarity, comfort, and control for businesses worldwide.
For travel professionals, the introduction of automated reshopping tools like ATG Reshop signals a shift toward more proactive cost management in corporate travel. As pricing becomes increasingly dynamic, the ability to capture savings post-booking without manual effort could become a standard expectation for corporate clients. The tool's integration with Oversee's platform also highlights the importance of partnerships between TMCs and specialised technology vendors to enhance service offerings.
Industry observers note that reshopping technology is particularly relevant for large corporate accounts with high booking volumes, where even small percentage savings can translate into significant bottom-line impact. By automating the process, ATG aims to free agents to focus on higher-value client service activities while ensuring clients consistently benefit from the best available rates.
ATG's move aligns with broader trends in travel technology, where AI is increasingly used to optimise post-booking operations. Similar tools have been adopted by other TMCs and online booking platforms, but ATG's partnership with Oversee and its focus on both air and hotel bookings sets it apart in the corporate travel segment.
