Duetto has clinched a landmark agreement with B&B Hotels to deploy its revenue and profit operating system across the French-based economy chain's entire estate of more than 930 properties spanning 19 countries. The partnership, which follows a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process, positions Duetto as the revenue management technology backbone for one of Europe's fastest-growing hotel operators.

The rollout will give B&B Hotels a unified, data-driven approach to pricing and forecasting, replacing fragmented legacy systems with a single platform that integrates revenue strategy with operational cost analysis. According to executives, the move is central to B&B Hotels' broader digital transformation, aimed at standardising revenue management practices across its diverse portfolio.

Profitability at the core

David Garcia, Global COO of B&B Hotels, said the decision came down to Duetto's ability to align with the group's profitability-focused strategy. "We chose Duetto after a thorough RFP process as their products aligned closest with what we're trying to achieve," Garcia stated. "We have a strong focus on profitability across our properties, and this is where Duetto shone as adding the most value."

Michael Schäffner, Chief Sales Officer at Duetto, echoed that sentiment, noting that the scale of the deployment underscores the platform's enterprise readiness. "B&B Hotels is exactly the kind of enterprise partner that proves what's possible when revenue strategy and profit management work as one — at scale," he said.

The deal adds B&B Hotels to a roster of major hotel groups already using Duetto, including Meliá Hotels International and Motel One. It also comes on the heels of Duetto's recent acquisition of FLYR Hospitality, which strengthened its AI-driven revenue tools, and its recognition as Revenue Management System of the Year at the Travel Trade Excellence Awards 2026.

For B&B Hotels, the implementation is expected to enable more dynamic pricing decisions, improve demand forecasting, and provide a clearer picture of cost structures at each property. The chain, known for its budget-friendly positioning, has been expanding aggressively across Europe and beyond, making standardised revenue management a priority.

Industry observers see the partnership as a signal that even economy and midscale segments are investing heavily in sophisticated revenue technology, a trend that has traditionally been led by luxury and upscale brands. The ability to optimise both revenue and profit, rather than just occupancy or average daily rate, is becoming a competitive differentiator.

Duetto's platform, which combines revenue management with profit analytics, is designed to help hotels move beyond traditional metrics. By factoring in operational costs, the system aims to identify the most profitable mix of business, a capability that resonates with operators facing margin pressure.

The rollout will be phased across B&B Hotels' portfolio, with full deployment expected over the coming months. Both companies declined to disclose financial terms of the agreement.

As the hospitality industry continues to embrace technology-driven decision-making, partnerships like this one highlight the growing importance of integrated revenue and profit management solutions. For travel professionals, the deal underscores a broader shift toward data-centric operations across all hotel segments.
