FH55 Hotels, the Italian hospitality group with roots dating back more than seven decades, has unveiled a comprehensive rebranding initiative designed to sharpen its luxury positioning across its portfolio in Florence, Rome, and Fiesole. The move introduces a refreshed visual identity and a new brand architecture, while preserving the group's longstanding commitment to service excellence.

A new expression of Italian elegance

The rebranding reflects FH55's ambition to communicate a contemporary interpretation of luxury—one that is understated, approachable, and deeply connected to the cultural and historical context of its destinations. The group, founded by Dino Innocenti, has long balanced its heritage with modern enhancements, focusing on design, service quality, and guest experience. The new brand positioning centers on what the company calls “charming luxury,” an aesthetic that integrates the rich history of each location into the guest journey.

Claudio Catani, Vice President Operations of FH55 Hotels, said: “This rebranding represents an important milestone in the history of FH55 Hotels, because it allows us to give a new expression to an identity rooted in more than 70 years of Italian hospitality.”

The new corporate visual identity features the FH55 logo as the primary mark, supported by a distinctive color palette and typography that balance heritage with modernity. Each property retains its individual character while sharing core values of excellence, authenticity, and sustainability.

Aligning with wider luxury travel trends

The rebranding comes as the luxury hospitality sector increasingly emphasizes quiet, experience-driven stays over ostentatious displays of wealth. This shift is evident in recent moves by other players, such as Paradise Coast's repositioning as a quiet luxury destination and HBX Group and Virtuoso's expanded luxury travel partnership. FH55's new identity aligns with this trend, offering a refined yet unpretentious experience that resonates with today's discerning travelers.

The initiative accompanies ongoing property renovations and growth plans, aimed at strengthening FH55's luxury credentials. The group continues to prioritize guest wellbeing and community engagement, exemplified by its collaboration with the Little Sisters of the Poor in Florence, where surplus food is donated to those in need.

For travel professionals, the rebranding signals a clearer brand promise that can be leveraged in sales and marketing efforts. The new architecture simplifies the relationship between the group and its individual hotels, making it easier for agents and tour operators to communicate the distinct character of each property while reinforcing the group's overall standards.

As the hospitality industry evolves, FH55's move underscores the importance of brand clarity in a competitive market. With its blend of tradition and innovation, the group is well-positioned to appeal to luxury travelers seeking authentic Italian experiences.
