BWH Hotels has expanded its GLō brand with the opening of the GLō Best Western Olive Branch, an 80-room property in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The newly built hotel is positioned in one of the Mid-South's fastest-growing suburban markets, offering convenient access to Memphis's business and leisure corridors.

The property is designed to appeal to both corporate and leisure guests, with a contemporary aesthetic that BWH says redefines suburban hospitality. Amenities include a fitness center overlooking an outdoor pool, pergola-shaded seating, outdoor grilling stations, and a fire pit for social gatherings.

Strategic location in DeSoto County

Located in DeSoto County, the hotel sits at the crossroads of economic growth and cultural tourism. It provides easy access to major employers and distribution networks in the Memphis metro area, as well as regional attractions such as Clarksdale's blues music scene and Ole Miss athletics in Oxford. The property fills a gap in the local market by offering upscale accommodations without the congestion of an urban core.

“GLō continues to redefine what travelers can expect from a suburban hotel, offering elevated yet accessible experiences in high-growth markets,” said Amy Hulbert, Vice President of Boutique and Upscale Brands at BWH Hotels. The brand's focus on design-forward, tech-enabled stays is evident in the property's layout and guest room features.

The hotel is owned and operated by Yogi DeSoto Corporation and was built by Patel Construction. It targets the region's robust business development and thriving youth sports tourism sector, which has become a significant driver of hotel demand in the area.

Guests can participate in the Best Western Rewards loyalty program, earning points that never expire and can be redeemed for a variety of rewards. This adds value for frequent travelers and strengthens the property's appeal to corporate accounts.

The opening comes as BWH Hotels continues to grow its GLō brand, which focuses on lifestyle-oriented accommodations in secondary and tertiary markets. The Olive Branch property is the latest example of the brand's strategy to bring elevated design to suburban locations.

For travel professionals, the new hotel offers an additional option for clients visiting the Memphis region, whether for business meetings, leisure trips, or youth sports tournaments. Its proximity to Memphis International Airport (MEM) and major highways makes it a convenient base for exploring the broader Mid-South area.

As the hospitality sector rebounds, suburban properties like this one are increasingly attractive to developers and operators seeking to capitalize on shifting travel patterns. The GLō Best Western Olive Branch is poised to benefit from these trends, offering a modern alternative to traditional roadside hotels.
