Go Golfing, the Australian tour operator specializing in golf holidays, has opened bookings for its 2027 Canadian Rockies Golf Tour. The 16-day program, running from 15 to 30 August 2027, combines play at several championship courses with sightseeing across Alberta and British Columbia.
The tour begins in Calgary and moves through the Canadian Rockies, with stops at Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, and Glacier National Park. Golfers will tee off at Silvertip Golf Club in Canmore and the Banff Springs Golf Course, among others. Non-golfing companions can opt for a scenic gondola ride in Banff or a food walking tour in Kelowna.
Two decades of Rockies expertise
Go Golfing has been organizing trips to the Canadian Rockies for more than 20 years, refining the itinerary based on participant feedback. “We loved the variety of golf courses and how professionally the tour was run,” said Anita Johnson, a previous participant from Adelaide. Daniel Reed from Bendigo added, “The trip offered great value for money and was a lot of fun.”
The tour is already 70% sold out, according to the company. An early-bird discount of AUD $1,000 (approximately $640 USD) is available for bookings made by 31 July 2026. The package includes accommodation, green fees, and select meals, with flights arranged separately.
The Canadian Rockies remain a popular destination for international golf travellers, particularly from Australia and Asia. Air Canada and WestJet both operate extensive networks into Calgary, with WestJet recently adding five sun routes for winter 2026, bolstering leisure connectivity to the region. Meanwhile, Air Canada and Airbus have launched a $137 million SAF co-investment platform, which could support more sustainable travel to destinations like the Rockies in the coming years.
Go Golfing’s tour targets both avid golfers and their travel partners, offering a mix of competitive play and leisure activities. The company positions the trip as a bucket-list experience, with the early-bird incentive designed to drive early commitments from agents and direct clients alike.
For travel advisors, the 2027 tour represents a high-value product with a proven track record. The operator’s long-standing relationships with Canadian resorts and course operators ensure reliable logistics, while the non-golfer options broaden the appeal for couples and groups.
Interested agents can contact Go Golfing for group booking terms and commission details. The early-bird deadline of 31 July 2026 provides a clear call to action for clients planning their 2027 travel.
