The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal has rolled out a curated summer program blending elevated dining and wellness offerings, aimed at attracting luxury travelers and regional visitors during the hotter months. The property, situated along the Grand Canal, is leveraging its MICHELIN-recognized restaurants and revamped spa to drive incremental revenue through July.
Li Jiang's 'The Art of Asia' Tasting Menu
Li Jiang, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant recognized by the MICHELIN Guide, has launched a seven-course tasting menu titled 'The Art of Asia'. Priced at AED 450 (approximately $123) per person, the menu emphasizes premium seafood and Japanese culinary techniques. The restaurant also continues its themed dining events, including Vietnamese Night and Unlimited Sushi & Sashimi Night, providing variety for repeat guests.
For steak enthusiasts, The Forge steakhouse is promoting its Tomahawk Experience, featuring a 1.2kg tomahawk steak at AED 535 ($146). Meanwhile, Sorso lounge is hosting live football match screenings, appealing to sports-minded patrons.
Ritz-Carlton Spa Revamp with Lotus High Tea
The Ritz-Carlton Spa has introduced a redesigned treatment menu inspired by the lotus flower, including therapeutic massages, body rituals, and the Timeless Capsule experiences. Throughout July, the spa is offering a 25% discount on treatments lasting 60 minutes or more. A new Lotus High Tea, priced at AED 250 ($68) per person, pairs botanical teas with handcrafted pastries, designed as a post-treatment indulgence.
This wellness push aligns with broader industry trends in luxury hospitality, where properties like Six Senses Fiji and Chiva-Som Hua Hin are also expanding wellness offerings to capture health-conscious travelers.
Additional Dining Venues
Alba Lobby Lounge continues its signature Afternoon Tea starting at AED 190 ($52), while Giornotte offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with weekday buffets and a Chef’s Brunch. Mijana, another MICHELIN Guide-selected venue, showcases Levantine dishes and hosts a Seafood Night every Sunday. Pool Bar by Dolce provides a relaxed atmosphere with a daily happy hour from 3pm to 5pm.
These initiatives reflect the hotel’s strategy to maximize summer occupancy and F&B revenue, a common approach among Gulf properties during the off-peak season. The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi is positioning itself as a comprehensive destination for both dining and relaxation, competing with other luxury hotels in the capital.
