Seabourn Quest has completed a major drydock period, emerging with what the line describes as the most extensive interior investment in its history. The 450-guest vessel now features redesigned public spaces, upgraded suites, and a renewed focus on sustainable materials, positioning it for a series of seven-day Mediterranean itineraries running through November 2026.

Redesigned Public Spaces and Dining Venues

The centerpiece of the refit is The Club, which has been transformed into a speakeasy-inspired evening venue. The space now features richer tones, a reshaped bar, new lighting, and a layout that allows guests to move seamlessly between cocktail seating, lounge areas, and the dance floor. Elsewhere, the Observation Bar has been brightened with updated carpet and furnishings, while Seabourn Square now offers a warmer, living-room-at-sea atmosphere with new furniture and bistro-style seating.

The main pool deck received a refreshed teak surround, new sound and lighting systems, and updated loungers. The Spa & Fitness area now includes a redesigned reception, all-new gym equipment, and a softer salon with new lighting and finishes. Even the onboard shops have been refreshed with new lighting and display elements, aligning with the elevated retail experience across the Seabourn fleet.

Dining venues also saw upgrades. The Colonnade now features new flooring, carpeting, seating, and a refreshed service line that highlights live-cooking moments. The Restaurant retains its classic atmosphere but now has lighter, more modern carpet and drapery, giving the space an airier feel.

Suite Upgrades and Sustainable Materials

Every suite category received new mattresses and plush wool carpeting, while penthouse and premium suites gained new veranda furniture, turning balconies into inviting outdoor living spaces. The design approach aims for a residential, personal feel with layered textures and a palette that nods to the sea without copying any single destination.

Sustainability was a key focus during the drydock. Over 20,000 square metres of carpet were replaced, with all original carpet diverted from landfill and earmarked for recycling into new carpet padding. Updated suites feature Cradle to Cradle–certified Dansk Wilton wool carpet, supporting a closed-loop lifecycle. All mattresses were deconstructed for recycling at the shipyard, and select lounge furnishings were donated to a local Italian non-profit.

Mediterranean 2026 Itineraries

Seabourn Quest will operate immersive seven-day Mediterranean sailings between Dubrovnik, Fusina (Venice), Istanbul, and Athens through November 2026. Guests can link itineraries into 14- and 21-day journeys. The line is also offering Explore More promotions, including savings of up to 15% on select summer ocean and expedition voyages, reduced deposits, and up to US$1,000 in shipboard credit per suite on select winter itineraries.

For travel professionals, the refit signals Seabourn’s continued investment in its fleet and commitment to sustainable operations. The refreshed Quest joins sister ships Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Odyssey in offering updated onboard experiences.
