Trip.Gourmet, the dining arm of Trip.com Group, has released its 2027 Fine Dining List, marking a decade of curating global culinary experiences. The announcement was made at a launch event in partnership with Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore, underscoring the platform's expanding footprint in Asia and beyond.

This year's list covers six continents, featuring 744 restaurants across 105 cities and 40 countries. Notably, 34 new destinations have been added, reflecting the growing appetite for fine dining among international travelers. The list is structured into three tiers: Black Diamond, Diamond, and Platinum. The top tier, Black Diamond, includes 60 restaurants, while Diamond and Platinum comprise 160 and 524 venues, respectively.

WOW Privileges: exclusive access for top-tier members

Alongside the list, Trip.Gourmet introduced the WOW Privileges program, designed to give Black Diamond members priority access to some of Asia's most sought-after dining reservations. This initiative aims to enhance the experience for frequent diners, offering them scarce seats at popular establishments that are typically hard to book.

“We are thrilled to celebrate our tenth anniversary with a list that truly reflects the diversity and excellence of global fine dining,” said a Trip.Gourmet spokesperson. “The WOW Privileges program is our way of rewarding our most loyal members with unique opportunities.”

The launch event at Resorts World Sentosa highlighted the synergy between travel and gastronomy, a theme that resonates across the industry. As luxury resorts increasingly feature Michelin-starred chefs, the demand for curated dining experiences continues to rise.

For travel professionals, the list serves as a valuable resource for crafting itineraries that include memorable culinary stops. With the addition of new destinations, agents and tour operators can tap into emerging food scenes, from lesser-known European cities to vibrant Asian metropolises.

The move also aligns with broader trends in the hospitality sector, where hotels are hosting culinary festivals to attract guests. Trip.Gourmet's data-driven approach offers insights into traveler preferences, helping stakeholders tailor their offerings.

As the travel industry rebounds, culinary tourism is becoming a key differentiator. The 2027 list not only celebrates excellence but also signals where the industry is heading, with a focus on authenticity and local flavors.

With the WOW Privileges program, Trip.Gourmet is also addressing the pain point of securing reservations at top restaurants, a common challenge for both leisure and business travelers. This could prove particularly valuable for MICE planners organizing high-end events, as destinations compete for lucrative corporate business.

The 2027 Fine Dining List is available on the Trip.Gourmet platform, where users can explore the full roster of restaurants and plan their next culinary journey.
