Palladium Hotel Group, the Spanish hospitality operator behind brands such as BLESS and The Unexpected, is seeing 2026 revenue momentum driven by UK travellers. The UK remains the group's top European source market, contributing 30% of room revenue across its Spanish portfolio, with average daily rates (ADR) climbing 4% nationally and 10% in the Balearic Islands.

The group's strategy now centres on luxury and lifestyle experiences to capture this high-value demand. A flagship example is The Site Ibiza, a €90 million development that blends two hotels with gastronomy, retail, art, and entertainment. The project is designed to appeal to international travellers seeking more than a traditional stay.

Ana Morillo, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer at Palladium Hotel Group, said: “We are investing in experiences that go beyond the traditional hotel stay, with gastronomy, entertainment and lifestyle playing an increasingly important role in how we differentiate our offering.”

UK market strength beyond the Balearics

The UK's influence extends beyond Ibiza. In Tenerife, British travellers account for 52% of Palladium's room revenue, and in Sicily they represent 32%. These figures underscore the UK's strategic importance to the group's European performance.

Palladium's expansion continues with the recent opening of BLESS Barcelona, a property targeting high-value international travellers. The group is also investing in destinations such as Vietnam, New York, and the UAE, aiming to sustain growth through international demand and a diversified portfolio.

Industry analysts note that Palladium's focus on lifestyle and luxury aligns with broader trends in hospitality, where experience-driven offerings command premium rates. The group's ability to leverage UK demand while expanding into new markets positions it well in the competitive global hotel landscape.

For travel professionals, Palladium's performance offers a case study in source-market diversification and product differentiation. As UK travellers continue to prioritise experiences, hoteliers may look to similar strategies to capture share in key European and emerging destinations.
