Akira Back Bangkok, the signature restaurant atop the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park, has launched a limited-time 'Taste of Summer Truffles' menu. Running through 31 August 2026, the offering showcases truffles sourced from the French Alps and Italy, aiming to attract both hotel guests and local diners seeking a refined culinary experience.

Menu Highlights and Pricing

The four-course menu features the AB Truffle Mushroom Pizza, an elevated version of the restaurant's signature pizza. Seafood options include Seared Hokkaido Scallop with miso cream butter and crispy lotus root. For meat lovers, the Kagoshima A5 Ribeye pairs wagyu beef with button mushrooms, truffle beef jus, and sautéed kimchi. Dessert is a Black Truffle Macaron with vanilla truffle ganache.

Dishes are priced from THB 390++ (approximately $11) each, available for both lunch and dinner. Reservations are recommended due to expected demand.

Strategic Context for Hospitality Professionals

The Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park, the largest hotel in Bangkok and the first Marriott Marquis in Asia Pacific, continues to leverage its F&B offerings to differentiate in a competitive market. With 1,388 rooms and suites, extensive meeting spaces, and multiple dining venues, the property targets both leisure and MICE segments. This truffle menu aligns with broader trends in luxury dining, where seasonal and imported ingredients drive premium pricing and guest engagement.

For travel professionals, the menu provides an additional selling point for corporate clients and high-net-worth travelers visiting Bangkok. Similar seasonal promotions have been effective at other luxury properties, such as Zuma Riyadh's summer dining lineup, which includes a business lunch and Baikingu brunch.

The restaurant's location in the heart of Bangkok's business and entertainment district also positions it well for agent-led bookings, particularly for clients seeking exclusive dining experiences. As Hotel101 Global and Origin Property PCL partner for a 770-room condotel near Don Mueang, Bangkok's hospitality sector continues to expand, making unique F&B offerings a key differentiator.

For tour operators and travel advisors, incorporating such dining experiences into itineraries can enhance guest satisfaction and justify premium pricing. The menu's availability through August 2026 provides ample time for inclusion in summer and shoulder-season packages.
