BWH Hotels' design-led Aiden brand is scaling up its international presence, with more than 20 new hotel developments announced and a portfolio that has grown to 58 properties worldwide. The expansion underscores rising demand for Aiden's flexible development model, which pairs contemporary aesthetics with locally inspired guest experiences while still offering access to the Best Western Rewards loyalty program.

Recent openings and pipeline

Newly opened Aiden properties in Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe illustrate the brand's cross-continental appeal. In 2026, Aiden debuted Aiden by Best Western Velbert in Germany, Aiden Surawong Bangkok in Thailand, and Aiden by Best Western Sacramento Downtown in the United States. Each property is designed to reflect the character of its neighborhood, blending modern design with storytelling rooted in the local community.

Looking ahead, Aiden has confirmed openings in Denver, Tempe, Toronto, and Pullman by 2027. These locations will feature distinctive amenities, such as Denver's Rooftop Social and Tempe's Burnt Flour restaurant, further differentiating the brand in competitive urban markets.

“Travellers today aren't looking for another hotel that feels exactly like the last one. They want places with personality, a sense of discovery, and a connection to the destination,” said Brad LeBlanc, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at BWH Hotels.

Design and local partnerships

Aiden's growth strategy also includes expanding its “Art Welcomes You In” initiative, which collaborates with local artists to create site-specific installations. This program reinforces the brand's commitment to design-led hospitality and will be rolled out to new properties as they open.

The brand's expansion aligns with broader trends in the hospitality sector, where travelers increasingly seek authentic, experience-driven stays. For travel professionals, Aiden's growth offers new distribution options and a fresh alternative to standardized hotel products. The brand's integration with Best Western Rewards provides a loyalty hook for agents and corporate bookers.

BWH Hotels continues to diversify its portfolio across segments, and Aiden's rapid scaling is a key part of that strategy. With a pipeline that spans multiple continents, the brand is positioning itself as a go-to choice for developers and guests alike.
