Club Med has released a four-part documentary series titled Dream Makers – Creators of Happiness, produced by Mediawan Brand Studio, now available on YouTube. The series offers travel industry professionals an inside look at the operational and creative processes behind the all-inclusive resort operator's properties across Asia and beyond.

The documentary arrives as Club Med accelerates expansion in the Asia-Pacific region and other markets. Among the featured developments are a new beach and safari resort in South Africa, a comprehensive transformation of its Bintan Island property in Indonesia, and the introduction of overwater suites at its Maldives resort. The series also previews the upcoming Exclusive Collection resort in Koh Samui, Thailand, scheduled to open in 2028.

Staff and Innovation at the Core

Rachael Harding, CEO for East, South Asia and Pacific at Club Med, stated: "Dream Makers offers a glimpse into the care, creativity and intention behind every Club Med experience." The series profiles staff ranging from aspiring Chefs de Village to resort managers tasked with building new destinations from scratch.

One episode documents the rebuilding of Club Med Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic after a fire, illustrating the logistical and operational challenges of restoring a major resort. Another follows the development of the South Africa property, highlighting site selection, construction, and integration with local ecosystems.

The documentary spans six destinations, concluding with the Koh Samui announcement. This focus on expansion aligns with Club Med's strategy to redefine the all-inclusive segment by emphasizing unique, locally integrated experiences rather than standardized packages.

For travel agents and tour operators, the series provides insight into the product development behind Club Med's offerings, which can inform client recommendations. The company's push into new markets, including the South African safari-and-beach concept, signals a diversification beyond traditional beach resorts.

Club Med's documentary approach mirrors a broader trend in hospitality marketing, where brands use long-form content to build credibility with both consumers and trade partners. The series is available on Club Med's official YouTube channel.
