INPARADISE, the sky-high buffet destination in Taipei, has launched a collaboration with Michelin Guide-recommended chef Daniel Sanz Martin to offer a limited-time Spanish culinary experience. This partnership is part of the ongoing "Taste the World INPARADISE" series, which previously featured an Italian chapter and now turns its focus to Spain's rich gastronomic heritage.

Chef Daniel Sanz Martin, founder of the Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant JARANA, has crafted a menu that reinterprets classic Spanish dishes through modern techniques. JARANA has been listed in the Taiwan Michelin Guide for four consecutive years (2022–2025) and holds Spain's official "Restaurants from Spain" certification. Martin's approach blends traditional flavors with contemporary presentation, aiming to offer guests an immersive dining experience.

Menu Highlights and Culinary Philosophy

The menu includes five signature dishes: Soft-boiled Egg Yolk with Fish Roe, inspired by the Spanish tortilla; Galician-style Octopus, a nod to tapas culture; Seafood Paella; Pan-fried Oxtail Terrine with Red Wine Foam; and Tarta de Santiago, an almond cake linked to the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage. Each dish is designed to showcase the evolution of Spanish gastronomy while staying rooted in its origins.

This collaboration underscores INPARADISE's commitment to bringing global food cultures to Taiwan, offering a unique opportunity for guests to experience the flavors and stories of Spain. The event, titled "A Taste Journey Through Spain," runs until 31 July 2026 at INPARADISE locations in Taipei and New Taipei City. Reservations can be made online.

For travel professionals, this partnership highlights the growing trend of destination-focused culinary experiences within the hospitality sector. Similar initiatives, such as Two-Star Michelin Chef Alan Taudon Takes Culinary Helm at Hôtel de Crillon, Paris, demonstrate how high-end dining collaborations can enhance hotel and resort offerings. Additionally, the success of Michelin-recognized restaurants in Asia, as seen in Vietnam's Michelin Guide 2026: 11 One-Star Restaurants Mark Culinary Milestone, indicates a broader shift toward culinary tourism in the region.

INPARADISE's series also aligns with broader industry moves to integrate local and international culinary talent into travel experiences. For example, Explora Journeys Launches Off-Peak Mediterranean Itineraries with President’s Cruise similarly leverages themed dining to attract travelers. As the travel industry continues to recover, such partnerships offer a competitive edge for hotels and dining venues seeking to differentiate themselves.
