REAL Jet, the private aviation arm of REAL SLX, has integrated Crypto.com Pay into its booking process, enabling clients to settle charter flights with cryptocurrency. The move makes REAL Jet the first private aviation company to adopt Crypto.com Pay, a payment solution designed for secure, compliant transactions. Initially, the service is open to eligible US residents, with all bookings priced and settled in US dollars.

The partnership, formalized in February 2026, is part of a broader effort to elevate the VIP experience across REAL SLX's portfolio, which includes Marquis Jet and Wheels Up. Kenny Dichter, Founder and Chairman of REAL SLX, called the integration a natural evolution for the brand. "Crypto.com Pay is the next leap forward," Dichter said. "Crypto.com has more than 100 million users, and they're building for the next 100 million."

Joe Anzures, Chief Business Officer at Crypto.com, echoed that enthusiasm, noting the collaboration's significance for the platform. "Partnering with REAL Jet is a milestone for Crypto.com and our Crypto.com Pay feature, which was designed for ease of use and seamless integration," Anzures said.

Digital payments gain traction in travel

The announcement comes as digital currencies edge further into mainstream travel commerce. Emirates, for instance, has already integrated Crypto.com Pay for UAE flight bookings, signaling a broader acceptance of crypto among premium carriers. REAL Jet's move extends that trend into the charter segment, where high-value transactions and a tech-savvy clientele make crypto a particularly fitting option.

For travel professionals, the development underscores a growing expectation among affluent travelers for flexible, modern payment methods. As more operators and airlines embrace digital assets, agencies and brokers may need to adapt their own payment infrastructure to remain competitive.

Crypto.com's expanding footprint

The partnership coincides with Crypto.com's aggressive expansion across asset classes, highlighted by a recent $400 million strategic investment from Citadel Securities, which values the company at $20 billion. That injection of institutional capital signals growing confidence in digital assets and their long-term role in global finance.

Founded in 2016, Crypto.com has positioned itself as a leader in regulatory compliance, security, and privacy, with a stated vision of "Cryptocurrency in Every Wallet." Its payment platform, Crypto.com Pay, is already used by millions of consumers and merchants worldwide, and the company's push into travel aligns with broader trends in tourism becoming a core economic policy for many governments.

For private aviation, the integration of crypto payments could streamline high-ticket bookings, reduce friction for international clients, and open new markets. REAL Jet's flexible booking options, combined with Crypto.com's global reach, may set a precedent for other charter operators looking to differentiate themselves.

As the travel industry continues to digitize, the adoption of cryptocurrency by premium service providers like REAL Jet is likely to accelerate. Whether for convenience, security, or investment diversification, the ability to pay in crypto is becoming a sought-after feature among high-net-worth travelers.
