Trisara Phuket is deepening its culinary proposition with a new series of destination-led dining experiences that draw on the cultural heritage of Southern Thailand. The resort, part of the Montara Hospitality Group, has introduced a structured programme of wine tastings, seasonal menus, and coastal dining events designed to position gastronomy as a core pillar of the guest experience.

Wine Cellar and Tasting Programmes

Beneath the resort, the Wine Cellar offers a curated collection of rare Thai and international wines. Available daily upon request, the experience includes guided tastings and masterclasses that explore wine appreciation across Asia. This addition aligns with broader trends in luxury hospitality, where properties such as Bellustar Tokyo have similarly invested in elevated in-resort experiences to differentiate themselves in competitive markets.

Weekly Culinary Calendar

The resort’s weekly dining schedule features several recurring events. Every Monday, the Phuket Street Food Feast takes place at the MICHELIN Guide-recognised Thai Library, offering a curated take on local street food. On Fridays, Cielo & Spice presents a 10-course omakase experience. Both events emphasise premium ingredients and live culinary preparation, reflecting Trisara’s refined coastal hospitality.

Seasonal Monsoon Menu

From now until 30 September 2026, The Symphony of Southern Monsoon at Thai Library offers a menu inspired by the monsoon season. The limited-time offering celebrates Southern Thailand’s culinary heritage with seasonal ingredients such as wild forest mushrooms and young durian, sourced locally and prepared using traditional techniques. This approach mirrors the growing emphasis on terroir-driven dining seen at other luxury resorts, including SAii Lagoon Maldives, where local sourcing is central to the culinary strategy.

Package Offering

For guests seeking a more immersive experience, A Taste of Trisara combines a one-night stay in a private pool villa with curated meals and access to resort activities. The package is available until 31 October 2026 and is designed to encourage longer stays while showcasing Phuket’s flavours and coastal setting.

The initiative comes as luxury travellers increasingly seek authentic, place-based experiences. According to recent industry analysis, shorter trips and cooler destinations are defining summer 2025, as highlighted in Trip.com data. For properties like Trisara, destination-led gastronomy offers a way to differentiate in a crowded market while deepening guest engagement with local culture.

Trisara’s culinary series also reflects a broader shift in luxury hospitality toward experiential dining. As noted by executives at Scott Dunn, human expertise and emotional value are becoming key differentiators in luxury travel. By embedding local heritage into its dining programme, Trisara is positioning itself to capture this demand.
