Visit Orlando has announced the return of its Magical Dining program, now in its 21st year, with a record 188 participating restaurants. The event, presented by Orlando Health, runs from 14 August to 30 September 2026, offering three-course prix-fixe menus at $40 or $60 (plus tax and gratuity). This year’s edition includes 38 new restaurants, 16 of which are recognized by the MICHELIN Guide.
Among the new additions is OMO by Jônt, a Michelin-starred restaurant offering a $60 menu. Other highlights include dining options at the recently opened Universal Helios Grand Hotel and a jazz club featuring live music. Early reservations are encouraged, with full menus available on OrlandoMagicalDining.com.
Industry Impact and Charity Component
Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando, emphasized the program’s broad benefits: “What makes this programme so special is that everyone benefits. Diners can enjoy exceptional meals at a great value, local restaurants welcome new and returning customers, and every meal helps support nonprofits that are making a difference in Central Florida.”
The primary charity beneficiary this year is OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability), which supports individuals with autism and developmental differences. For each $40 meal, $1 is donated; for each $60 meal, $2 is donated. Additionally, $3,000 donations will be awarded to local nonprofits in each of Orange County’s six commission districts.
Orlando Health continues as presenting sponsor. Erick Hawkins, CFO of Orlando Health, stated: “We’re proud to continue partnering on this programme, which is helping our local nonprofits expand their reach and promoting a stronger, healthier Central Florida.”
For travel professionals, this event underscores Orlando’s ongoing strategy to diversify its tourism appeal beyond theme parks. The inclusion of MICHELIN-recognized venues and new hotel dining options—such as those at Universal Helios Grand Hotel—signals a push toward higher-end culinary tourism, which can attract luxury travelers and MICE groups. The program also provides a model for destination marketing organizations looking to combine dining promotions with community giving.

With 188 restaurants and a record number of participants, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining continues to be a key driver for local hospitality and tourism. The program not only boosts restaurant traffic during a traditionally slower period but also reinforces Orlando’s position as a year-round destination for both leisure and business travelers.
