WorldHotels, the soft-brand collection within BWH Hotels, is accelerating its global footprint with more than 40 new luxury properties, following roughly 100 additions already confirmed for 2025. The expansion targets branded residences, wellness-focused retreats and independent hotels in high-demand destinations, as premium travel demand continues to climb.

Ron Pohl, President of WorldHotels, said the brand is focused on preserving each property’s distinct identity while offering access to commercial resources and industry expertise. “Our growth strategy is built on partnerships that respect the character of each hotel while delivering the scale and support owners need,” Pohl noted.

Branded residences and new market entries

Key developments include WorldHotels’ first branded residences in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, comprising 74 villas and 424 flat units under the Essensia Sky and Parkway Saigon, WorldHotels Residences banners. In Phu Quoc, the WorldHotels Long Beach Resort will offer an elevated island experience.

The brand is also making its debut in South Korea with the Ecoland Hotel on Jeju Island, and in India with the Resort Country Club near Manesar. These moves reflect a deliberate push into markets where luxury travel infrastructure is expanding rapidly.

In Europe, WorldHotels is deepening its Crafted collection through a collaboration with De Historiske, a Norwegian association of historic hotels. New additions include the Kviknes Hotel in Norway and the Vault Hotel in Sweden, strengthening the brand’s Nordic presence. The partnership aligns with broader trends in heritage tourism, similar to how Hotel Cipriani's renewed luxury partnership underscores the value of legacy properties in premium hospitality.

Wellness and outdoor hospitality

WorldHotels is also expanding its wellness and outdoor hospitality offerings. New properties include the Asheville River Cabins in North Carolina and the Acqua di Mare Resort in Roatan, Honduras. These additions cater to travelers seeking immersive, nature-focused experiences, a segment that has seen sustained growth post-pandemic.

The brand’s push into wellness aligns with broader industry shifts toward quiet luxury and place-based design, where personalization and local authenticity are paramount.

WorldHotels’ expansion comes as the global luxury hotel market is projected to grow significantly, driven by rising wealth in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. The brand’s strategy of combining independent character with commercial scale positions it to compete against larger luxury groups while offering owners flexibility.

With new properties spanning Asia, Europe and the Americas, WorldHotels is betting that travelers will continue to seek distinctive, locally rooted experiences without sacrificing the reliability of a global distribution system. The brand’s ability to maintain that balance will be key as it adds dozens of properties in the coming months.
