Atlas, the global travel technology company, has announced a direct content partnership with Air Transat, Canada’s leading leisure airline. The integration expands Atlas’s North American coverage and strengthens its transatlantic flight retailing capabilities for travel sellers worldwide.
Through this collaboration, Atlas’s Travel Seller network can now access Air Transat’s full schedule and inventory via the same API that connects to over 140 carriers globally. This streamlined integration reduces technical complexity and accelerates time-to-market for agents and tour operators seeking to offer Air Transat’s leisure routes.
Network and Fleet Details
Air Transat, headquartered in Montréal, operates an all-Airbus fleet and serves more than 65 destinations across 35 countries. In fiscal year 2025, the carrier transported 5.4 million passengers. It was named World’s Best Leisure Airline by Skytrax for the seventh time in 2025, underscoring its service quality in the leisure segment.
The partnership gives travel sellers access to key Canadian gateways including Montréal–Trudeau (YUL) and Toronto Pearson (YYZ), with connections to popular leisure destinations across Europe, Mexico, the Caribbean, and beyond. This expands the range of transatlantic options available through Atlas’s platform.
Strategic Rationale
Clive Ashmore Butler, Chief Operating Officer of Atlas, commented: “The travel industry has spent years solving content access. The next challenge is making that content retailable and serviceable at scale. Air Transat stands out as one of North America’s leading leisure carriers, with a distinctive network that is highly relevant to our global Travel Seller community.”
This partnership is part of Atlas’s broader strategy to build what it describes as the travel industry’s most advanced flight retailing and fulfilment infrastructure. By integrating Air Transat’s content, Atlas enables travel sellers to efficiently retail and service airline products through a single platform, reducing fragmentation in the booking and post-booking process.
For travel agents and tour operators, the integration means they can now offer Air Transat’s leisure network alongside other carriers without switching systems. This is particularly relevant for those serving the Canadian outbound market or building transatlantic packages that combine flights with hotels, cruises, or tours.
The move also aligns with broader trends in travel technology, where aggregators and NDC-enabled platforms are increasingly competing to offer the most comprehensive and serviceable content. Atlas’s focus on making content “retailable and serviceable” addresses a pain point many agents face: the ability to not only book but also modify and service bookings efficiently.

As the travel industry continues to consolidate content access through API-based platforms, partnerships like this one between Atlas and Air Transat demonstrate how technology vendors are working to simplify distribution for both airlines and sellers. The result is a more connected ecosystem that benefits carriers, agents, and ultimately travelers seeking seamless booking experiences.
