Highline Warsaw, the European Union's tallest observation deck, has marked a strong debut year, attracting nearly 700,000 visitors since opening in May 2025. The attraction, perched 230 metres above the Polish capital, has quickly become a cornerstone of Warsaw's tourism offering, drawing guests from 152 countries.

International visitors accounted for 270,000 of the total, with the Netherlands, Italy, and Germany leading the source markets. Travellers from as far afield as New Zealand made the journey, underscoring the deck's global pull. The observation platform offers panoramic views over Warsaw's skyline, complemented by cultural programming, lifestyle events, and special occasions—including at least 20 marriage proposals recorded during the inaugural year.

Digital engagement and brand impact

Beyond footfall, Highline Warsaw has built a substantial digital footprint. Its Instagram content generated over 23 million views between May 2025 and July 2026, while the profile attracted roughly 31,000 followers. This online presence has amplified the attraction's reach, reinforcing Warsaw's visibility among international travellers.

Alexia Vettier, CEO of Magnicity, the company behind Highline Warsaw, said: “Highline Warsaw has rapidly become a powerful symbol of Warsaw’s growing appeal on the international tourism map.” The success aligns with Magnicity's broader portfolio, which includes the Paris Montparnasse Observatory and the Berliner Fernsehturm, both iconic urban vantage points.

For travel professionals, Highline Warsaw represents a new anchor for city-break itineraries and MICE programmes. Its combination of elevated views, event spaces, and social media appeal offers agents and tour operators a fresh selling point for Warsaw, a destination that has been steadily expanding its tourism infrastructure. The deck's performance also signals a broader trend: observation towers and sky-high experiences are increasingly becoming must-visit attractions in European capitals.

Warsaw's tourism board will likely leverage this momentum as the city continues to court international visitors. With the deck's success, Magnicity is well-positioned to replicate the model in other markets, potentially reshaping urban leisure offerings across the continent.

For those planning group travel or incentive programmes, Highline Warsaw's mix of cultural events and milestone celebrations provides a versatile venue. The attraction's ability to draw from diverse source markets—including long-haul travellers from New Zealand—highlights its appeal beyond traditional European feeder markets.

As the travel industry looks to diversify experiences beyond conventional museums and landmarks, Highline Warsaw demonstrates how a single attraction can elevate a city's profile. Its first-year results offer a case study in destination marketing, blending physical infrastructure with digital storytelling to capture the attention of a global audience.

For agents and operators, the deck's popularity suggests opportunities for packaged tours that combine Warsaw's historical sites with modern vantage points. The city's growing appeal, bolstered by Highline Warsaw, may also encourage airlines and hoteliers to expand capacity, further integrating Warsaw into European and intercontinental travel networks.
