National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) has deepened its collaboration with Dubai-based FYTE Hospitality to elevate the dining options at InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi. The partnership, which began with the Kokoro Handroll Bar, has now expanded to include Bake My Day, an artisan bakery and coffee shop, reflecting a broader strategy to integrate innovative food concepts into the property.

The Kokoro Handroll Bar, which initially launched as a temporary residency, has been extended due to strong guest demand. This positive reception prompted NCT&H to broaden the partnership, adding Bake My Day to the property's culinary roster. The move aligns with NCT&H's commitment to supporting homegrown hospitality brands and enhancing Abu Dhabi's tourism appeal.

Strategic Alignment and Executive Insights

Moustafa Sakr, Vice President of Hospitality at NCT&H, emphasized the strategic value of the alliance. "Bringing together our hospitality expertise with FYTE Hospitality's entrepreneurial approach creates opportunities that enrich our culinary offering," he said. Tamer Elkhayat, CEO of FYTE Hospitality, echoed this sentiment, noting, "NCT&H shares our commitment to quality and building experiences with purpose, making this collaboration a natural fit."

The partnership is part of a broader vision for InterContinental Residences Abu Dhabi to offer exceptional dining experiences that reflect the destination's character. By combining international hospitality standards with celebrated local brands, the property aims to become a hub for distinctive dining experiences in the capital.

This development comes as Abu Dhabi continues to invest in its tourism infrastructure, with a focus on culinary tourism as a key differentiator. The emirate's hospitality sector has seen a surge in partnerships between established hotel operators and local food entrepreneurs, a trend that NCT&H is leveraging to stay competitive.

For travel professionals, this collaboration underscores the importance of curating unique dining experiences to attract both leisure and business travelers. As the partnership progresses, NCT&H and FYTE Hospitality plan to introduce more innovative concepts to Abu Dhabi, further enriching the city's culinary landscape.
