Radisson Hotel Group has strengthened its wildlife tourism portfolio in India with the launch of Jungle Home Resort Tadoba, a member of Radisson Individuals Retreats. Located just 450 metres from the Kolara Gate of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra, the property is designed for travellers seeking immersive nature experiences without sacrificing modern comfort.

The resort sits in Village Kolara, roughly 90 km from both Nagpur and Chandrapur, providing convenient access for domestic and international visitors. Its proximity to the reserve entrance makes it a practical base for guided jungle safaris and other outdoor activities, a key selling point for tour operators and travel agents building wildlife itineraries.

Accommodation and amenities

The property features a mix of accommodation types, including eight luxury suites with private Jacuzzis, two villas with outdoor pools, and ten premium suites. Guests can also take advantage of recreational options such as cycling, fishing, and nature walks, alongside curated dining at the on-site restaurant, Gondwana Rasoi.

Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for South Asia at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “As interest in wildlife tourism and nature-led travel grows in India, destinations such as Tadoba offer opportunities to connect travellers with immersive experiences in nature.”

Anish Singh, General Manager of Jungle Home Resort Tadoba, emphasised the resort's focus on personalised hospitality that complements the natural surroundings. The property aims to cater to wildlife enthusiasts, families, and couples seeking a nature-focused retreat.

The opening aligns with broader trends in Indian travel, where wildlife and eco-tourism are gaining traction among both leisure and luxury segments. Radisson's expansion into tier-2 and tier-3 markets, where destinations like Tadoba are located, reflects a strategic push to capture demand beyond major urban centres.

Radisson Hotel Group currently operates or develops more than 200 hotels in India, a footprint that spans urban business hotels, resorts, and now wildlife retreats. The addition of Jungle Home Resort Tadoba is part of a wider effort to diversify its offerings and tap into niche travel segments.

For travel professionals, the resort presents an opportunity to package safari experiences with reliable hospitality standards. Its location near a premier tiger reserve, combined with upscale amenities, positions it as a viable option for both FIT and group bookings.

As the group continues to grow its presence in emerging destinations, properties like this one underscore the potential of wildlife tourism to drive repeat visits and extended stays. The resort's design and service model are tailored to deliver a seamless blend of adventure and relaxation, a formula that is increasingly resonating with modern travellers.
