Radisson Hotel Group has expanded its India portfolio with the launch of Park Inn by Radisson Bengaluru Whitefield, marking the brand's entry into one of the country's most dynamic technology and commercial districts. The 82-room property, situated in the Whitefield-Brookfield corridor, is designed to serve the growing demand from business travelers, corporate teams, and urban professionals frequenting this rapidly evolving area.
Strategic location in India's tech capital
Bengaluru, often described as India's technology capital, continues to attract multinational corporations and startups, making it a key hospitality market. Whitefield, once a traditional IT district, has transformed into a significant mixed-use zone, drawing both domestic and international visitors. The hotel's location offers convenient access to major business hubs and is approximately 35 kilometers from Kempegowda International Airport.
Nikhil Sharma, Managing Director and COO of South Asia for Radisson Hotel Group, said, "The opening of Park Inn by Radisson Bengaluru Whitefield further strengthens our presence in one of the country's most dynamic business destinations." The property is part of Radisson's broader strategy to expand in high-growth commercial areas across India, where the group already operates over 200 hotels.
Facilities tailored for business and leisure
The hotel features contemporary rooms and suites equipped with ergonomic workspaces and curated amenities, catering to both business and leisure guests. Dining options include RBG, the hotel's restaurant and bar, while a rooftop fitness center offers city views for those maintaining their workout routines.
For corporate events and social gatherings, the hotel provides 1,153 square feet of flexible meeting space. Ramesh Kumar, Managing Partner at Suraksha Hospitality, highlighted the property's role in addressing the demand for quality accommodation in Bengaluru's business districts.
This opening follows Radisson's recent technology initiatives, including the launch of a ChatGPT-based hotel discovery app, reflecting the group's focus on innovation and market responsiveness.
The Whitefield property adds to a wave of hospitality developments across Asia, from the Langham Custom House Bangkok to the Banyan Tree Mount Emei, as hoteliers target emerging business and leisure destinations.
With India's hospitality sector showing resilience, Radisson's continued expansion underscores its commitment to capturing growth in key commercial corridors. The Park Inn by Radisson brand, known for its midscale positioning, is well-suited to meet the needs of cost-conscious yet quality-focused business travelers.
