Sands Lifestyle is marking its tenth anniversary with a culinary series that brings together seven chefs from across Greater China and beyond. The Celebrity Chefs' Table will take place at Le Cristal Parisian, a glass pavilion at The Parisian Macao that offers views of the property's Eiffel Tower replica and the anniversary drone shows. The series runs through August and September, with each chef presenting a six-course tasting menu of signature and exclusive dishes.

A line-up of regional talent

The series opens with Franco Fong of Twelve25 in Macao, who will present a seafood-focused menu. Highlights include Abalone & foie gras, combining slow-cooked abalone with aubergine and foie gras. Following Fong, Greg Tao of Hangzhou's L'éclat 19 will offer a Lobster “egg tart”, a creative twist on Macao's Portuguese egg tart, paired with lobster consommé.

Hwang Byeonghyen from Hong Kong's L’Envol will bring his French culinary approach, featuring Brittany razor clams and caviar. Rain Qu, a champion of the “Chef of China” competition, will showcase fusion dishes that include Aged beef short rib with Sichuan peppercorn mousse.

The series continues in September with Hong Kong chefs Eddy Leung and Ronald Shao, who will present dishes such as Lamb noisette and Signature baked pork chop rice. The event concludes with a Michelin-starred French chef, whose name has not yet been announced.

Pricing and reservations

The experience is priced at MOP2,388 (approximately $298) per person, with an optional Champagne pairing available for an additional MOP588 (about $73). Given the limited seating, reservations are recommended and can be made through The Parisian Macao's website.

This initiative is part of Sands China's broader efforts to enhance its dining offerings and reinforce Macao's position as a culinary destination. The company has also been recognized for its operational excellence, recently becoming the first in Greater China to earn Great Place To Work certification and the first globally to achieve ISO 14001:2026 environmental certification.

For travel professionals, the Celebrity Chefs' Table series represents a compelling addition to Macao's luxury dining scene, which is a key draw for high-end leisure and MICE travelers. The event also aligns with Sands China's ongoing investment in experiential offerings, as seen in its recent shopping carnival that attracted 160,000 visits and supported local SMEs.

As the series unfolds, it will be interesting to see how it influences dining trends in the region and whether similar collaborations emerge at other integrated resorts. For now, the Celebrity Chefs' Table offers a rare opportunity to taste the work of some of Asia's most innovative chefs in a setting that is both intimate and spectacular.
