Tauck, the Connecticut-based tour operator known for its curated small-group travel, is significantly scaling its women-only departure program for 2027. The company has opened bookings for seven itineraries across Europe and North America, up from three in 2026, marking the first time the collection extends beyond Europe.

Each departure operates as a small group capped at 24 guests, led by a female Tauck Director. The all-inclusive pricing covers airport transfers, accommodations, most meals, exclusive-access experiences, and local guides. For travel professionals, the expansion signals a growing demand among female travellers for fully managed, community-oriented trips that remove logistical friction.

European Itineraries: Six New and Expanded Routes

The European lineup includes six itineraries spanning France, Italy, Portugal, Scandinavia, and England. Highlights include:

  • “A Week In… Champagne & Alsace” (8 days, $7,990 per person double) — explores the Alsatian villages of Kaysersberg and Colmar, the Champagne capital of Reims, a vintage car afternoon in Épernay, and an exclusive dinner at Moët & Chandon.
  • “A Week In… Italy’s Hidden Wine Country” (8 days, $7,290) — combines truffle hunting in the Langhe hills, guided tastings of Barolo and Barbaresco wines, and an early-opening visit to La Venaria Reale, with stays in Piedmont vineyards and on Lake Maggiore.
  • “A Week In… Copenhagen & Oslo” (8 days, $6,490) — features a private palace dinner at Copenhagen’s Odd Fellows Mansion, a day trip across the Øresund to Lund, Sweden, and a scenic fjord cruise from Oslo.
  • “Tuscany, Cinque Terre & the Portofino Coast” (8 days, $7,990) — traces northwestern Italy from Chianti’s hills to Liguria’s coastal villages, combining Tuscan art and gastronomy with the dramatic scenery of Cinque Terre and Portofino.
  • “England and the West Country” (8 days, $8,990) — explores southwestern England’s countryside, country houses, and cathedral cities, following Tauck’s “Yellow Roads” through landscapes that inspired Jane Austen.
  • “A Week In… Portugal” (8 days, $6,990) — journeys from Porto’s riverfront to Lisbon, with a Port house tour, visits to Sintra and Cascais, and a private farewell dinner at the 18th-century Palácio de Queluz.

North American Debut: Canada’s Capital Cities and Niagara Falls

The new North American itinerary, “Canada’s Capital Cities plus Niagara Falls” ($8,290 per person double), explores eastern Canada’s cultural and natural breadth. It covers Ottawa, Quebec City, and Niagara Falls, with Tauck’s signature access and guided depth throughout. Departures run from June to October 2027.

“For women accustomed to juggling so much, there is quiet luxury in letting every detail be handled by someone else,” the company noted in its announcement. The expansion reflects a broader industry trend toward niche, affinity-based travel products that cater to specific demographics. Tour operators and travel agents may find parallels in other curated programs, such as Explora Journeys’ Alaska 2027 itineraries or StarDream Cruises’ fuel surcharge adjustments, both of which target discerning travellers seeking tailored experiences.

Tauck’s women-only program also aligns with the growing emphasis on female-led travel, as highlighted at events like the Mekong Tourism Forum 2026, where women reshaping the industry took centre stage. For travel advisors, the program offers a ready-made product for clients seeking a built-in community of like-minded women, expert-led itineraries, and the assurance that every detail is managed.
