Advantage Travel Partnership, the UK's largest network of travel businesses, has added Vairo to its supplier partner roster. The move gives Advantage's member agencies—representing over two-thirds of the UK's leading travel management companies—access to a platform designed to modernize and automate offline booking processes.

Vairo's system consolidates travel requests, quoting, and client communications into a single interface. Travel management companies can manage the entire journey from initial request through booking and fulfilment without discarding their existing technology stack. The platform aims to reduce manual tasks, improve visibility, and help consultants focus on service delivery rather than administrative overhead.

Streamlining Complex Servicing Workflows

Natalie Barfield, Partner and Commercial Director at Vairo, said the collaboration addresses mounting pressure on TMCs. “Travel management companies are under increasing pressure to deliver exceptional services whilst maintaining operational efficiencies and profitability,” she noted. “Vairo has been developed to simplify complex servicing workflows, streamline quoting and client communications so consultants can focus on service, whilst giving managers greater visibility and control across the business.”

Stephen Baxendale, Payment & Technology Partnerships Manager at Advantage Travel Partnership, emphasized the platform's relevance to current industry challenges. “The platform addresses a genuine challenge for many travel companies by bringing greater automation, visibility and control to offline booking processes,” he said. “As agencies continue to look for ways to improve productivity and service delivery, Vairo offers a compelling solution that complements existing technology investments.”

The partnership aligns with Advantage's broader strategy of equipping its network with innovative technology partners that support operational excellence and long-term growth. For Vairo, joining Advantage's supplier network opens distribution to a large pool of UK-based TMCs, many of which handle complex corporate travel programmes requiring seamless offline booking capabilities.

Vairo's integration approach is particularly relevant for agencies that rely on legacy systems or multiple disconnected tools. By layering a unified workflow platform on top of existing infrastructure, the company aims to reduce friction without forcing a full system replacement—a key consideration for TMCs that have invested heavily in their current technology.

The announcement comes as the travel industry continues to digitize back-office functions. Similar trends are visible across the sector: AirCairo recently joined IATA's BSP in India, expanding distribution for travel agents, while Korean Air and Delta expanded their seamless baggage transfer network to Seattle and Los Angeles. These developments underscore the industry's push toward greater automation and interoperability.

Advantage Travel Partnership, which counts more than 800 member locations across the UK, has been actively expanding its technology and payment partnerships. The addition of Vairo reflects the network's focus on providing tools that improve efficiency for both leisure and corporate travel specialists.

For TMCs evaluating workflow automation, Vairo's platform offers a non-disruptive path to modernization. The company's ability to integrate with existing systems while adding quoting, communication, and management oversight capabilities positions it as a practical solution for agencies seeking to enhance productivity without overhauling their tech stack.
