Adventure tourism in Abu Dhabi gets a new vertical dimension with the official opening of Bungee at Yas Bay on 1 November 2026. Located at Yas Bay Waterfront on Yas Island, the attraction offers a 50-metre bungee jump, giving thrill-seekers a unique perspective over the marina and the surrounding entertainment district.
Operated by Warrior Group, the experience is engineered to international safety standards, with harness checks and a full safety briefing before each jump. The facility is designed to accommodate both first-time jumpers and seasoned adrenaline veterans, with sessions running every 15 minutes from 1pm to 9pm.
Strategic addition to Yas Island's portfolio
The launch is part of Miral's broader strategy to position Yas Island as a year-round global destination for leisure and entertainment. Jonathan Brown, Chief Portfolio Officer at Miral, said: "The opening of Bungee at Yas Bay adds an exhilarating new dimension to Yas Island's expanding portfolio of world-class experiences." The attraction joins a lineup that includes Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, and the Yas Marina Circuit, reinforcing the island's appeal to both regional and international visitors.
Troy Gillham, CEO of Warrior Group, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with Miral, highlighting the unique opportunity for visitors to experience Yas Bay from a new perspective. "We are proud to bring this world-class bungee experience to Yas Island," he said, noting the collaboration's role in enhancing the destination's adventure offerings.
Pricing and packages
The attraction offers three packages: Solo Leap at AED 299 (approx. $81) on weekdays, Double Leap for AED 540 ($146), and Squad Leap for AED 1,020 ($276) for groups. These tiered options are designed to appeal to individual adventurers, couples, and groups of friends or corporate teams, making it a versatile addition to Yas Bay's leisure mix.
Operating windows are scheduled for 1 to 3 December 2026 and again from 10 January to 28 February 2027, aligning with the region's peak tourism season. Participants must be aged 16 or above, and all jumps are subject to weather conditions and safety protocols.
The bungee jump complements Yas Bay Waterfront's vibrant atmosphere, which includes dining, retail, and entertainment venues. For travel professionals, the new attraction adds another compelling reason to include Yas Island in Abu Dhabi itineraries, particularly for incentive groups and adventure-focused travellers. The island's packed Q4 2026 events calendar, including this launch, underscores its momentum as a MICE and leisure hub.
As Yas Island continues to expand its portfolio, the bungee jump represents a low-cost, high-impact addition that can drive repeat visitation. For tour operators and agents, it offers a bookable experience that differentiates Yas Bay from other waterfront destinations in the Gulf.
