Red Sea Global (RSG) has officially welcomed guests at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay, the first operational property within the AMAALA luxury wellness destination on Saudi Arabia's northwestern coast. The opening represents a key milestone for the Kingdom's Vision 2030 economic diversification strategy, transitioning AMAALA from a development project into a live, fully operational resort.

First of Nine Resorts Opens in 2025

The resort, designed by U+A, offers 202 rooms, suites, and garden villas, plus 26 private residential villas. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and incorporates zero-waste systems. Facilities include the 2,095-square-metre HYLIAA Wellness & Spa, six open-air dining venues, and a 900-metre private beach. The property also features a premium fitness hub, five resort pools, a 'Kids for All Seasons' programme, and over 1,000 square metres of event space for corporate and private functions. Guests can access the Corallium Marine Life Institute, the AMAALA Yacht Club, and Marina Village.

John Pagano, Group CEO at RSG, said: 'The debut of our first resort at AMAALA is a moment of realisation for us. By delivering this world-class asset to market on schedule, we are demonstrating that regenerative development can combine commercial ambition with meaningful environmental and social impact.'

AMAALA is part of RSG's broader portfolio, which also includes the Red Sea Project. The destination is positioned as a high-end wellness and regenerative tourism hub, targeting luxury travellers from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The opening of the Four Seasons property is the first of nine resorts scheduled to launch at AMAALA this year, rapidly expanding the destination's accommodation capacity.

For travel professionals, the launch signals a new chapter in Saudi Arabia's luxury tourism offering. The property's focus on sustainability and wellness aligns with growing demand from affluent travellers for eco-conscious, health-oriented experiences. The integration of the Corallium Marine Life Institute and the AMAALA Yacht Club also provides unique programming for high-net-worth clients.

RSG's approach to regenerative development—going beyond sustainability to actively improve the environment—could serve as a model for other destinations. The company has committed to 100% renewable energy, zero waste to landfill, and the protection of marine ecosystems, including coral reefs.

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay is now accepting reservations. Travel advisors and tour operators can book through the GDS systems, including Amadeus, Sabre, and Travelport. As Saudi Arabia continues to open its doors to international tourism, the AMAALA development represents a significant addition to the luxury hospitality landscape in the Middle East. The destination's focus on wellness, sustainability, and exclusivity positions it to compete with established luxury markets such as the Maldives, Seychelles, and the French Riviera.

For agents and operators looking to expand their luxury portfolio, AMAALA offers a new, purpose-built destination with a clear brand identity. The opening of the Four Seasons property provides a tangible product to sell, with more to follow throughout 2025.
