SOAR Ocean Club, a new floating venue shaped like a manta ray, is set to open in November 2026 off Thailand's Eastern Riviera. The project aims to blend entertainment, dining, and music in a unique offshore setting, according to its operator.

The venue will be permanently moored about four kilometres offshore between Jomtien and Ban Amphur, accessible by speedboat from Ocean Marina Jomtien. It will offer a daytime lounge atmosphere that transitions into a nightlife destination, with open social areas and private suites for guests seeking either communal or intimate experiences.

Design and culinary concept

The design draws inspiration from the manta ray's graceful form, with sculpted decks and an Art Deco-meets-ocean aesthetic. The venue will feature a coastal izakaya concept led by Chef Blair Mathieson, blending Mediterranean and Asian flavours. Menu highlights include Fremantle octopus with yuzu kosho mayonnaise and miso-glazed mushroom tarts.

The cocktail programme, titled "Great Ports of the World," will offer Mediterranean aperitivos and Asian-inspired creations. Entertainment will include a rotating line-up of local and international DJs, with plans for offshore music festivals every quarter. The first event, The Grand Breach, is scheduled for December 2026.

Paul Dibbayawan, CEO of SOAR Ocean Club, said the venue aims to create a welcoming destination for local residents and international visitors. "We want to offer something distinctive that complements the Eastern Riviera's growing appeal," he said.

The launch adds to Thailand's expanding portfolio of luxury and experiential offerings. For travel professionals, the venue could serve as a new option for corporate events, incentive travel, and high-end leisure itineraries. Its proximity to Pattaya and U-Tapao International Airport makes it accessible for both domestic and international guests.

SOAR Ocean Club will announce further details about its opening schedule and entertainment lineup in the coming months. The project is part of a broader trend of floating venues and offshore experiences emerging in the region, as destinations seek to differentiate themselves.
