Visit Czechia, the national tourism authority, has joined forces with Cozmo Travel, a leading travel management company in the Middle East and North Africa, to launch a dedicated summer campaign targeting travelers from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The initiative, which went live on 22 July 2026, aims to position Czechia as a premier European destination for visitors from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain.
The campaign leverages Cozmo Travel's extensive retail network and digital platforms across the GCC and wider MENA region. It combines targeted digital marketing, social media promotions, and destination-focused content to raise awareness and drive bookings. A key enabler is the direct connectivity provided by Air Arabia, which operates flights from Sharjah to Prague, making Czechia more accessible than ever for Gulf travelers.
Curated Packages for Diverse Traveler Segments
Three distinct holiday packages have been designed to cater to different traveler preferences. The Prague Quick Weekend Package, starting at $1,061 (AED 3,899) per person, offers a short getaway including flights, accommodation, and a guided city tour. For those seeking wellness and culture, the Karlovy Vary Spa & Prague Package, starting at $1,088 (AED 3,999), combines luxury stays with visits to thermal springs and cultural landmarks. Adventure enthusiasts can opt for the Bohemian Switzerland Nature & Soft Adventure Package, starting at $1,224 (AED 4,499), which features national park excursions and cultural tours.
These packages are designed to encourage longer stays and repeat visits, highlighting Czechia's rich heritage, wellness traditions, and outdoor experiences. The campaign runs throughout key travel periods, with bookings available via Cozmo Travel's outlets and online platforms.
Representatives from Visit Czechia emphasized the growing interest from GCC travelers in authentic European experiences. Cozmo Travel reaffirmed its commitment to delivering innovative travel solutions through its regional network, aiming to convert travel inspiration into confirmed bookings. This partnership aligns with broader trends in the travel industry, where destination marketing organizations are increasingly collaborating with regional travel agencies to tap into high-potential source markets.
For travel professionals, this campaign underscores the importance of leveraging direct air connectivity and tailored packages to capture demand from the GCC. Similar strategies have been employed by other destinations; for instance, Visit Qatar launched its inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Doha Triathlon to attract sports tourists, while TAT signed five China pacts to enhance visitor experiences. The Czech initiative also reflects a shift toward year-round destination marketing, moving beyond peak summer seasons.
With Air Arabia's direct flights and Cozmo Travel's distribution strength, Czechia is well-positioned to capture a larger share of the GCC outbound market. The campaign's focus on curated experiences and digital engagement is expected to resonate with travelers seeking both convenience and authenticity.
