European river cruise operator VIVA Cruises has made its official debut in Australia, selecting Sydney-based Cruise Traveller as its exclusive distribution partner. The move gives Australian travel agents and their clients direct access to the German-headquartered line, which is owned by Swiss parent Scylla AG.
To mark the launch, Cruise Traveller is offering complimentary cabin upgrades on selected 2027 departures for bookings made before 11 October 2026. The promotion applies to sailings aboard VIVA MOMENTS, VIVA TIARA, and VIVA TWO, with itineraries spanning the Danube, Rhine, and other European waterways.
Premium product, competitive pricing
VIVA Cruises operates a fleet of nine contemporary river ships, each accommodating between 80 and 190 guests. The all-inclusive fare structure covers beverages, regional cuisine, onboard Wi-Fi, gratuities, and two shore excursions per sailing—positioning the brand as a value-driven premium option in the European river cruise segment.

Prices start at A$3,395 per person, twin-share, with the complimentary upgrade moving guests from an Emerald Deck Double Cabin to a Ruby Deck Double with a French balcony.
