Structured business matching and conference program

CIMX places a strong emphasis on meaningful, structured business engagement. Its hosted and trade buyer program with a business matching system is designed to facilitate targeted conversations between buyers and suppliers through pre-arranged meetings. This approach helps participants make better use of their time and identify potential partners aligned with their business scope and needs.

For exhibitors, CIMX provides a platform to showcase offerings to relevant decision-makers, build relationships with prospective clients, and explore new business opportunities. For buyers, the show offers direct access to a diverse range of destinations, venues, services and solutions, helping them identify potential partners and explore ideas for future meetings, incentive programs and corporate events.

The CIMX Conference complements the marketplace with a program focused on professional development, industry trends and forward-looking discussions. Developed in collaboration with leading organizations, senior experts and experienced practitioners, the program spans six conference tracks, 40 topics and 120 speakers, covering key issues shaping the business events sector.

Leading industry associations and organizations supporting CIMX include the MICE Committee of China Association of Travel Services, China Advertising Association Event Marketing Committee, CCPIT, Sourcing China, PCMA, GBTA, ICCA, and SITE. Their participation strengthens CIMX's recognition in their member circles and promotes the exchange of industry knowledge, creating further opportunities for professionals to engage with the perspectives, expertise and networks shaping the business events sector.

“As China's MICE market further grows and matures, its impact will increasingly be measured by the quality of experiences and the business value they deliver. China's role in the global MICE value chain is evolving—as a source of demand, a host for international events and a contributor of expertise and innovation,” said Nikolaos Swoch, Director of CIMX. “Our ambition with CIMX is to accompany and support that evolution: to give China's capabilities greater international visibility, while ensuring that understanding, knowledge and opportunity flow in either direction.”

CIMX arrives at a time when China's business events sector is expanding rapidly, with new venues and destinations vying for international attention. The event's structure, with its emphasis on pre-arranged meetings and a diverse buyer base, reflects a broader trend in the MICE industry toward more efficient and outcome-driven networking. For travel professionals, CIMX offers a rare opportunity to access China's vast market and connect with key decision-makers from across the globe.

As the global MICE community gathers in Beijing, CIMX 2026 is poised to become a significant platform for business exchange and industry insight. With its comprehensive exhibitor lineup, structured matching, and robust conference program, the event is set to deliver tangible value for all participants.
