M&I has unveiled its 2027 portfolio of hosted buyer forums, spanning Europe and North America, with a sharper focus on delivering measurable return on investment for both buyers and suppliers. After more than two decades of building its reputation on curated one-to-one meetings, networking, and destination experiences, the company says the new calendar is engineered to deepen business relationships and drive tangible outcomes.

A key innovation for 2027: delegates who attend multiple M&I events will never encounter the same meeting twice. Across the full year, there will be no repeated appointments, only fresh opportunities to expand networks, meet new partners, and generate new business. M&I attributes this commitment to its broad global buyer and supplier community and its matchmaking process, meaning the more events a delegate attends, the greater the value they receive.

Paula Jurvanen, Managing Director at M&I, said the move reflects how the customer community has grown and how the company has challenged itself to raise standards further. “Whether attending one forum or the full calendar, each event is intended to introduce new people, new markets and new commercial opportunities,” she added.

Flagship forums and specialist expansions

The 2027 line-up underscores M&I’s continued investment in international growth and specialist communities. The flagship forum returns to Marrakech (7–10 February, headlined by Mövenpick) and Šibenik, Croatia (16–19 June, headlined by Amadria Park), before crossing the Atlantic to Dallas (29 August–1 September, headlined by Omni Dallas Hotel). M&I Transatlantic heads to Stockholm (27 February–3 March, headlined by Strawberry), while LUXE by M&I, the specialist forum for luxury incentive travel and high-value group experiences, will focus on West Hollywood (11–14 April, headlined by Visit West Hollywood & 1 Hotel West Hollywood) and Ibiza (26–29 April, headlined by BLESS Ibiza The Site).

M&I Healthcare makes its North American debut in Dallas (29 August–1 September), co-located with the Americas flagship, alongside a specialist European healthcare/life sciences forum in Milan (27–30 June, headlined by Marriott Milan & YES MILANO). Both events feature compliant matchmaking, accredited education partnerships, and curated meetings tailored to one of the sector’s most complex and fast-growing industries.

M&I Expo also returns in April 2027, postponed from its original 2026 dates, at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi (5–7 April, headlined by Abu Dhabi Convention & Exhibition Bureau and ADNEC). Jurvanen noted that 100% of exhibitors and brands from the 2026 edition have rolled over to the new dates, calling it “a fantastic testament to the commitment and loyalty of our customer base.” She concluded: “Our 2027 portfolio is our strongest yet, and we're incredibly excited to share it.”

M&I still has one more event destination to announce — a final European flagship with an exclusively UK buyer audience. The full calendar also includes M&I Private in Sicily (13–16 October, headlined by Grand Palladium Sicilia Hotel & Spa).

For travel professionals evaluating hosted buyer programs, the no-repeat meetings guarantee could be a differentiator in an increasingly crowded MICE landscape. As the industry continues to emphasize ROI and relationship depth, M&I’s 2027 calendar offers a structured path to expanding networks without redundancy.
