The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) and Formula One Management have confirmed the 2027 FIA Formula One World Championship calendar, featuring 24 Grands Prix across 22 countries and 10 Sprint events. The season will open with pre-season testing in Bahrain from 24–27 February, followed by the first race at the Bahrain International Circuit, then a swift move to Saudi Arabia.
From the Middle East, the paddock travels to Australia, Japan, and China before crossing to North America for races in Miami and Canada. The European leg kicks off in Monaco, with a notable return to Portugal in June—marking the country's first F1 appearance since 2020. Later in the season, Türkiye rejoins the calendar in October, slotting between Azerbaijan and Singapore, as the championship makes its way through Asia and the Americas.
Geographic flow and sprint expansion
The 2027 schedule is designed to improve the logistical flow of the season, reducing back-and-forth travel for teams, freight, and personnel.
