Trump Tower Tbilisi officially unveiled its landmark development on 15 September with a star-studded celebration at Tbilisi's iconic Funicular, drawing international business leaders, celebrities, and media. The event marked the public debut of one of Georgia's most ambitious real estate ventures, a key component of the US$2 billion Downtown Tbilisi master plan.
The evening featured a multimedia presentation showcasing the tower's architectural vision, followed by performances from Grammy-winning artist CeeLo Green and DJ Francis Mercier, blending Georgian culture with global entertainment. Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of The Trump Organisation, expressed optimism about Tbilisi's trajectory as a hub for international investment. "This was the first real opportunity for people to see the scale and vision behind Trump Tower Tbilisi," he said.
A new skyline for Tbilisi
Designed by Gensler Washington, D.C., the 62-storey Trump Tower will rise 280 metres, making it the tallest building in Georgia. It is the first of six towers planned for Downtown Tbilisi, a mixed-use development situated adjacent to the city's Central Park. The project aims to transform Tbilisi into a dynamic business and lifestyle destination, positioning the Georgian capital alongside emerging global hubs.
Ilia Tsulaia, Co-Founder of Archi Group, drew parallels between Tbilisi's current momentum and Dubai's rapid rise as a global destination. "International interest in Tbilisi is growing at an unprecedented pace," he noted. The development is backed by a consortium of local and international partners, including The Sapir Organisation and INVIA, with financing from TBC Bank and Bank of Georgia.
The launch underscores Georgia's appeal as an emerging investment destination, leveraging its strategic location at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, alongside robust economic growth.
