Virgin Voyages has launched a limited-time promotion offering up to $300 in onboard credit for guests who book select Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Northern Europe cruises. The offer applies to new reservations made between 23 and 29 October 2026, covering 148 sailings scheduled from October 2026 through October 2028. The credit can be used for shore excursions, spa treatments, speciality drinks, and retail purchases onboard.

Eligible itineraries and ships

The eligible voyages range from five to nine nights and span the line's four Lady Ships: Scarlet Lady, Valiant Lady, Resilient Lady, and Brilliant Lady. Notable options include a six-night Western Caribbean sailing departing Miami on 29 November 2026, with fares from $670 (£552) per person, and a seven-night Greek Isles voyage departing Athens on 16 May 2027, priced from $1,487 (£1,225) per person.

In addition to the onboard credit, Virgin Voyages is running an 'Instant Savings Event' that allows travellers to save up to $914 (£750) per cabin and receive a 70% discount for a second guest on bookings made by 2 November 2026. UK Market Director SJ Walker highlighted the appeal of the offer: “Having extra spending money to enjoy onboard is always a welcome bonus, particularly when so much is already included in a Virgin Voyages holiday.”

Trade incentives for First Mates

Travel agents, known as First Mates, can earn £5 for each eligible booking through the line's First Mate Loot platform throughout October. This initiative is designed to encourage agents to engage with clients considering a Virgin Voyages holiday. The move aligns with the line's broader push to strengthen trade partnerships, following recent dining collaborations with chefs that have added new culinary experiences across the fleet.

The promotion comes as Virgin Voyages continues to expand its deployment and refine its product. The line has also been investing in NDC capabilities across UK trade channels, making it easier for agents to book and manage reservations. For agents, the combination of onboard credit, instant savings, and per-booking bonuses offers a compelling reason to prioritise Virgin Voyages in conversations with clients.

With 148 sailings included, the offer spans a wide range of departure dates and destinations, giving agents flexibility to match clients with itineraries that suit their preferences. The Caribbean sailings from Miami remain a staple, while the Mediterranean and Northern Europe options provide seasonal variety. The Greek Isles itinerary, for example, taps into the enduring popularity of Aegean cruising, a segment that has seen strong demand in recent years.

Virgin Voyages' adult-only positioning continues to differentiate it in the cruise market, appealing to couples, groups of friends, and solo travellers seeking a more contemporary onboard atmosphere. The line's focus on included dining, entertainment, and wellness—along with the added value of onboard credit—positions it well against competitors in the premium segment.

For travel professionals, the offer represents a clear sales opportunity. The booking window is short, but the savings and credit are substantial, and the trade bonus adds an extra incentive. As the industry moves into the 2026-2028 booking cycle, promotions like this are likely to play a key role in driving early demand.

Agents interested in taking advantage of the offer should note the 2 November deadline for the Instant Savings Event and the 29 October cutoff for the onboard credit. With 148 sailings to choose from, there is ample room to match clients with the right voyage, whether they are seeking a quick Caribbean getaway or a longer Mediterranean exploration.
