Goddess Retreats, a pioneer in women-only wellness travel since 2003, has introduced a new programme, Reset Goddess, at its Seminyak sanctuary in Bali. The seven-day, six-night retreat is designed to tap into the growing demand for community-driven solo female travel, offering a flexible itinerary that prioritises personal wellness and relaxation.
Founder Chelsea Ross said the programme aims to provide an “effortless wellness getaway” where women can “rest, be looked after, and listen to what their body needs.” Guests can choose from sunrise yoga sessions, spa treatments, or simply unwinding by the pool, with no fixed schedule to follow.
Flexible itinerary and inclusive amenities
Reset Goddess includes luxury accommodation, daily spa treatments, yoga, meditation, and cultural activities such as a traditional Balinese offering-making workshop. Meals are prepared with organic ingredients and can accommodate various dietary requirements. The retreat also features a chauffeured shopping tour of Seminyak and Petitenget, allowing guests to explore the area without logistical concerns.
The all-inclusive package, starting at $2,099, is structured to eliminate decision fatigue, a key pain point for travellers who want to recharge without the burden of planning. Ross emphasised that the programme is about “rest, being looked after, and listening to what your body needs.”
According to Grand View Research, solo female travel is at a 15-year high, with women over 40 leading the surge. Goddess Retreats is positioning Reset Goddess to cater to this demographic, which values both autonomy and community in their travel experiences.
The launch comes as wellness travel continues to expand across the industry, with operators like Orient Express and Guerlain debuting a 14-night wellness crossing and Ritz-Carlton Maldives unveiling a week-long Halloween programme. These offerings reflect a broader trend of blending luxury with holistic wellbeing.
Goddess Retreats has been a fixture in Bali’s wellness scene for over two decades, and Reset Goddess joins a diverse portfolio of programmes. The retreat continues to foster personal growth and community, making it a popular choice for women seeking a transformative travel experience.
For travel agents and tour operators, the new programme offers a ready-made product for clients seeking a structured yet flexible wellness escape. With its all-inclusive pricing and focus on solo female travellers, Reset Goddess could appeal to a niche but growing market segment.
As the wellness travel sector evolves, offerings like Reset Goddess highlight the importance of personalisation and ease. By removing the need for detailed planning, Goddess Retreats aims to deliver a stress-free experience that resonates with modern travellers.
