The company now operates six Korea Visa Application Centres in the region, with the latest additions in New Delhi, Dhaka, and Colombo.
The New Delhi centre was officially inaugurated on 15 September 2026 by Lee Seong-ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to India. This facility joins existing centres in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Kolkata, giving applicants in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka greater access to Korea visa services.
Yummi Talwar, Chief Operating Officer for South Asia at VFS Global, underscored the strategic importance of the expansion. “Reaching six Korea Visa Application Centres across three countries in South Asia is a significant milestone in our partnership with the Republic of Korea,” she said. The move reflects a sustained uptick in travel demand between South Asia and Korea, a trend that aligns with broader Asia-Pacific mobility growth.

The company collects application forms, enrols biometrics, and manages logistics, while the final decision on visa issuance rests solely with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
